Detailed in model

This was a great buy the plane was perfect my father who flew them thought that it matched almost perfect.

This wooden model of the 91st Bomb Group B-17, known as “Blood and Guts” is simply gorgeous! It is well made and sits perfectly on its wooden stand. the propellers can be easily moved for cleaning or you can put them into such symetrical positions as an 10-2-6 12-4-8 10-2-6 12-4-8 array, etc, etc. I love this model, and it sits happily by my office nameplate. –Maj. As I saw this aircraft actually in WWII, the model is a very good representation of the real thing. This aircraft was a very large carrier-based machine ,and the model easily reminds me of passed experiences.

The Lunar Excursion Module is a faithful, handcrafted 1/48 scale model of the Lunar Module originally made by Grumman. Why not really a toy, the model is well made and attractive. It is a bit on the pricey side, but if you are looking for a fine remembrance of Apollo this will fit the bill (no pun intended) very nicely.

I regularly present talks about astronomy and space exploration at a local astronomical society to groups of various ages and purchased this model to illustrate a couple of talks on the Moon and space exploration. I must admit when it arrived I was amazed at the quality of the packing, it should be virtually impossible for it to be damaged in transit. When assembled, the model is much larger than I expected, the two craft together are about as long as your forearm. Both craft are quite detailed and each component detatches, the command module clips onto the service module and the LEM descent and ascent modules also couple together. The LEM can then be mounted to the metal pin on the end of the command module, however, this attachment is a little “loose”, so be careful when showing it as the LEM may fall off in your hands. Each component has a number of very small, and fragile, parts so be very careful if you allow small children to touch it. All up though, this is a great model, but for adults only.

I had wanted a good model of the Saturn V for several years since I was Programming Systems Engineer on two Saturn V launches back in the 60′s. This model was a good size for display in my artifact room. It was delivered ahead of time and was sturdily packed, arriving in good shape. It has decent detail but would have been more effective if the Launch Escape Rocket had been carved instead of painted. I examined this same model in the Saturn store at the Kennedy Space Center and it was priced considerable higher.

Wow!! Great description. Too bad its for the wrong aircraft. This is a ME-110, NOT a ME-109.

Very helpful and quick shipping – Great product and support from the company.

I have a couple of aircraft from Toys and Model Corporation. This model is a whale, beautiful and hefty. with this 747-400 1/100 you will need to snap in the wings but this is very insignificant, just a FYI. Beautiful livery United colors. This is not a toy despite its department.

Beautiful Airplane to Fly and even just sit back on the couch and stare at it.
